Here the selection of wood, the design, and the dimensions of your choice can be brought together in uniquely designed and craftsman built, bespoke, decorative box.
Because I invite you to contribute, as much or as little as you wish, to the design process and consult you at every stage, the finished piece will feel truly your own.

Large Presentation or Gift Box
Description: Large hinged, lidded box, veneered all around in a striking 'golden flame maple' burl. Laquer and beeswax finish producing a piano gloss surface. Lined in black ultrasuede. Featuring a marquetry butterfly escutcheon and state of the art solid brass quadrant hinges. Brass and gold plate key and lock.
Additional Comments: This kind of box can be commissioned in a veneer or solid wood and size of your choosing.
Maple and Walnut Jewellery Box with Butterfly Marquetry Top.
Jewellery Box in solid American Black Walnut, veneered in Rippled Sycamore with a walnut lining providing a glimpse of what might be expected inside.
Features three trays divided into individual compartments, a butterfly marquetry top incorporating dyed veneers and mother of pearl highlights, and two secret compartments. Variations on these features can be built into your commissioned box.
Burr Maple Box
Jewellery Box in Burr Maple. Removeable tray in figured maple. Solid brass hardware. Ultrasuede lining and French polished. (w280mm X d180mm X h100mm).
Lacewood Box
Jewellery or keepsake box in solid Ropala Lacewood, chosen for it's eye catching figure. Beech inner panels, removeable tray and integral drawer and concealed compartment. (w300mm X d180mm X h160mm).
Watch Box in Lacquered Maple.
A box with integral drawer commissioned to house a prized watch. Constructed in solid Maple and finished in translucent black lacquer revealing a hint of the Maple figure. Lined in charcoal grey velvet. Features a concealed catch. (Length 135mm X Depth 80mm X Width 115mm).
Desktop Box
Desktop Box in Black Walnut and ripple Sycamore with an inlaid Tulipwood banding. The box has removeable inner trays and is lined in dark grey Ultrasuede. (w260mm X d70mm X h50mm).
Embroidery, Needlework Box
This box was commissioned to house embroidery materials, hoops, silks needles, beads, etc. The box exterior features Birds-Eye Maple veneered panels framed with walnut, and a floral marquetry central inlay. The interior is lined in Birch and includes a removeable tray. (w430mm X d430mm X h160mm).
